Which cookies we use, why, and how to manage your preferences — under KVKK, GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.

TL;DR We use 4 categories of cookies: Necessary (legally required), Analytics, Preferences, and Marketing. Only Necessary cookies are set by default; the rest are opt-in. You can change your choice anytime via Cookie Preferences.

1. What is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies enable session persistence, security, preference storage, and — with your consent — analytics.

Similar technologies (localStorage, IndexedDB, pixel tags) are treated the same way under this policy.

2. Legal Basis

KVKK Art. 5/2 — Necessary cookies are processed based on our legitimate interest and contractual performance; no consent required.
KVKK Art. 5/1 + ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3) — Analytics, Preferences and Marketing cookies require your explicit consent.
GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) — Consent (for optional categories).
GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — Contract performance (for necessary cookies).

3.1 Necessary Cookies (always active)

Required for the website's basic function — session, security, form protection, and remembering your cookie preference. Cannot be disabled.

3.2 Analytics Cookies (opt-in)

Aggregate anonymous statistics about how visitors use the site. IP is anonymized before storage. Note loaded until you consent.

Third-party recipient: Google Ireland Ltd (EU) with EU Standard Contractual Clauses. IP anonymization is enabled (anonymize_ip: true). GA4 stores aggregated events for up to 14 months.

3.3 Preferences (opt-in)

Remembers your UI choices — theme (light/dark) and language (TR/EN). We use localStorage, not cookies, for these.

3.4 Marketing (opt-in)

Currently inactive. If we add advertising pixels (Meta, LinkedIn Insight etc.) in the future, they will only load with your consent and will be listed here.

4. Managing Your Preferences

4.1 On our site

Click Cookie Preferences — the consent banner reopens with your current choices. Uncheck a category and click Accept Selected to withdraw consent immediately.

4.2 In your browser

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Notee that this may break site functionality (e.g. you may be logged out).

6. Data Subject Rights

7. Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance via banner or email. Minor edits (typos, link fixes) are made silently — check the "Last updated" date at the top.
